My wordy persona Jose Holder has made an unscheduled appearance and will be presenting his written works for all to savour right here on Blogger. It's been a life's dream of his to be published as a writer, and I can only hope we'll tag team on something really special in the forseeable future. I MADE MINE MARVEL!!!!!
It's all official and stuff! I'm a Marvel artist!!! Thanks to the unbelievable support of my editor Daniel Ketchum, C.B. Cebulski's "ChesterQuest", and a host of other incredible events that led up to this opportunity, I'll be playing around with one of my fave characters in the Marvel continuum. When the opportunity arose I jumped at the chance to draw Elsa Bloodstone, from Nextwave: Agents Of H.a.t.e. The series creators, Warren Ellis and Stuart Immonen, with the fantastic colouring of Dave McCaig, really had me addicted to their work when it first hit the shelves. It was a terrific read and an all around perfect title that epitimized what comics were meant to do. Entertain!
My participation will involve a 9 page short for the April release of the "Marvel Assistant - Sized Spectacular", penned by the incomparable Chris Yost. There's a great line-up of heavy hitters showing their wares in this two-issue anthology so check your listings, or follow this link to Marvel's solicitation for more details:
