I was messing around with some speed painting and decided to feature two fave Marvelites of mine. Ironman is juiced, jacked up, and totally inhuman. Wolverine's got his hands full (pun intended)!

With some crits and suggestions from the infamous Steve Firchow and co on Gutterzombie, I've resampled the piece with a clearer focal area and more definition on the girl. Sarah's skirt has been adjusted, as has Rex's face and the overall colour scheme. Enjoy!

TORN Strip

Resting my eyes from the glare on my drafting board, only to swap chairs for the computer station, and drum up a new pic for the TORN portfolio. This is a cropped section of a much larger effort that took more from me than I was willing to give. But I did manage to salvage this gem from the lot, and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. When the smoke clears and I grow a "new set", I'll revisit this piece with a vengeance. Enjoy.

Elektra By The Dozen!

My latest fascination with colour has spawned this red vixen
from DareDevil's dreams. The invincible assassin known as Elektra. Thought I'd go with a pulp fiction approach to this piece, and I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Photoshop and some Painter over my pencils.

Random Goodness #1

These are some character prelims, designs and cover work for some friends at A-List Comics. Fun stuff and a departure artistically for me. Which is, as most of you know, what I crave the most! The kinetic energy and organic nature of working like this is exactly where I see my art heading in the long term. Enjoy!

PANTHER 3.0 in Stereo!

More Panther - Less fat! I read an oversized annual by Marvel when I was a kid, Marvel Team-Up I think, with several connected Spidey stories where his adventures moved from Kazar's homeland to New York City. At one point teaming up with T'Challah, The Black Panther to take on a host of dinosaurs(Sauron's henchmen, maybe?) and The Grey Gargoyle. I think I was drawn in by the magic and scope of those stories(and print size) so much that every time I read them it was like for the first time. The wonder!!!
