Brom Colour!

I did a few more pieces for the Brom Kah franchise and this time I got the chance to colour some of the creator's pencils for the book. It was a real delight to tackle concepts that communicated a tattoo-esque flavour and take my colouring skills to the next level. I learned a lot in the process. Follow the link the Brom Kah page for complete view of all the pieces I contributed. Thanks for the opportunity, Garrett!!

YO JOE!!!

In light of the upcoming G.I.Joe extravaganza and feature film I just thought a few complimentary sketches would be nice. And because they're a gift to a friend.

As memory serves our starting line-up features Duke, Scarlett, General Hawk, Heavy Duty, and everyones favorite silent killer, Snake Eyes. Enjoy the show!

LET'S GO UTAH!!

This was a last minute addition to my buddy Dave Chisholm's masterpiece TPB "Let's Go Utah". They say this is a comic book milestone and I encourage everyone to get the series from the beginning. It's AMAZING! These are the story's main characters Leif and Davey.

Here's where you can find him : http://www.letsgotoutah.com/

Or you can look over all his previous issues on DeviantArt. His style is off the charts!

Montreal Comic Con!

Sketches I did for fan-friends Ameer and Pat at a comic con held over the weekend in my hometown. A really hot Batwoman representation was given to me as reference(a version of the heroine currently used by J.H.Williams) and I was happy to do my rendition. The second piece is a rough take on Snake-Eyes from the G.I.Joe franchise. Really hope I get a chance to play with that character sometime in my career. Thanks to both Ameer and Pat for sending me these fabulous pics.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Dave Ross and his lovely wife Judi at the show. Judi holds the distinguised honour of running Canada's sole nexus for all things sculpture related, and curates/directs at the Canadian Sculpture Centre in Toronto, in addition to holding the distinguished position of President on the board of directors for The Sculptors Society Of Canada. If you're in the Toronto area and what to take in some 3D culture please stop by and show your support.
Dave Ross, artist of Marvel/DC/& Valiant fame, who worked on powerhouse titles like Spiderman, Punisher, AlphaFlight, Excalibur, Rai, and Batman&TheOutsiders, is now the teacher of a Toronto based animation school called Max The Mutt. They specialize in all things computer and classically animated, comic book art and storytelling, and conceptual illustration. Check out MaxTheMutt.com for details on their curriculum and contact info.
