Rogue Galleries and Cons
Another Montreal comic book convention has come and gone this past weekend, and clearly, this event will go down in history as one of the biggest bashes our city has ever hosted for the fans. I can't remember a convention with such a heavy presence for top notch guests, visiting artists, and indie-based properties. Even Eidos showed up with plenty of screens and consoles for gaming enthusiasts.Spending time sketching for fans and chatting with my peers are always highlights of any show for me. But crossing paths with a truck load of my students was an exceptionally wonderful trip down memory lane. Good to hear everyone's doing well and prosperous in their everyday lives.
Attached is one of the sketches a friend Pat Starnes was kind enough to share with me since the con. It's of Rogue from the X-men. You'll just have to imagine her hair in colour with her trademark white strip down the center. Cheers!
