Customary character sheets that I generally tackle before committing to pagework of any kind. It's important to have an unconscious grasp of characters facial features and silhouettes so that you can glide through the production phase of a project and concentrate on the overall aesthetic, without sweating the time-consuming details.
These pieces were done in advance of some coverwork I did for BOOMstudios comic book series, INCORRUPTIBLE.

More boards pulled out of the tickle trunk. I never post these in order of by individual spot. Often when you get hired to do storyboards for television it involves developping more than one concept or commercial per client. Sometimes these jobs can take on a theme, which I usually lump under the label 'campaign'. Looking at the Smart bread spot you can see a few boards with a little girl, and another with an adult. Same style, different commercial.

It's been over a decade since I began my storyboarding run on music videos, television, and the occasional film so I figured it might be cool to throw a few up on JjComicStripArt for a chuckle or two.
Above are some spots I boarded for a GMC anniversary campaign, a hilarious Demsters bread ad, and what continues to be my favorite, a NAPA campaign featuring some very frisky golden-agers! 4:3 scale for television.
